Hello Racers!
Welcome to the Great Vallejo Race site. The Vallejo Yacht Club for the 110th year would like to invite all racers to the Yacht Racing Associations Season Opener on May 2 & 3, 2009. We are planning yet another fantastic party to greet you upon arrival.
First the big news… The Vallejo Yacht Club Harbor has been Dredged to 10′ MLLW! All vessels are welcome to raft up within our harbor free of charge for the event.
As always, our fabulous sponsors have provided the means for us to give you a first class season opening party. We have Johnny Nitro and the Doorslammers playing music all night long this year.
And for all those very competitive racers out there, Vallejo Yacht Club is going to offer the First Annual Great Vallejo Race Line Honors trophy for the first monohull sailboat to finish the race. This trophy is offered by VYC and is not related to any YRA class result standings.
